چکیده

This paper identifies vulnerabilities to recently proposed countermeasures leakage power analysis attacks in FDSOI systems based on the application of a random body bias. The are analyzed and relative difficulty obtain secret key, once taken into account, compared original proposals. A new countermeasure, bias scheme, is then proposed. countermeasure equalization asymmetries static consumption dependent data being stored registers implemented technology. countermeasure’s effectiveness theoretically established through development model technological parameters, further reinforced numerical simulations dummy cryptosystem implementing part an AES encrypting round.

Threshold Implementation as a Countermeasure against Power Analysis Attacks

One of the usual ways to find sensitive data or secret parameters of cryptographic devices is to use their physical leakages. Power analysis is one of the attacks which lay in such a model. In comparison with other types of side-channels, power analysis is so efficient and has a high success rate. So it is important to provide a countermeasure against it. Different types of countermeasures use ...

Leakage Squeezing Countermeasure against High-Order Attacks

In the recent years, side channel attacks have been widely investigated. In particular, second order attacks (2O-attacks) have been improved and successfully applied to break many masked implementations. In this context we propose a new concept to hinder attacks of all order: instead of injecting more entropy, we make the most of a single-mask entropy. With specially crafted bijections instanti...

Randomized Addition-Subtraction Chains as a Countermeasure against Power Attacks

Power Analysis attacks on elliptic curve cryptosystems and various countermeasures against them, have been first discussed by Coron ([6]). All proposed countermeasures are based on the randomization or blinding of the inputparameters of the binary algorithm. We propose a countermeasure that randomizes the binary algorithm itself. Our algorithm needs approximately 9% more additions than the ordi...

An Improved and Efficient Countermeasure against Power Analysis Attacks

Recently new types of differential power analysis attacks (DPA) against elliptic curve cryptosystems (ECC) and RSA systems have been introduced. Most existing countermeasures against classical DPA attacks are vulnerable to these new DPA attacks which include refined power analysis attacks (RPA), zero-value point attacks (ZPA), and doubling attacks. The new attacks are different from classical D...

Enhancing Simple Power-Analysis Attacks on Elliptic Curve Cryptosystems

Recent applications of lattice attacks against elliptic curve cryptosystems have shown that the protection of ephemeral keys in the ECDSA is of greatest importance. This paper shows how to enhance simple power-analysis attacks on elliptic-curve point-multiplication algorithms by using Markov models. We demonstrate the attack on an addition-subtraction algorithm (fixing the sequence of elliptic-...
